As a workers compensation attorney, I often see potential discrimination claims arising out of work injuries.
Recently, the Ohio legislature enacted a statute called Ohio HB 352, shortening the time frames for individuals to pursue employment discrimination claims, and requiring employees to participate in an administrative procedure before filing suit. This law goes into effect on April 13, 2021. It is more important than ever to act on discrimination in a timely manner, to meet these relatively short deadlines. For more information about this new statute, give us a call.
