After the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown back in July 2015, her estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit against her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. The suit alleges that Gordon placed her in the bathtub after injecting drugs into her.
While there were, no criminal charges filed, the civil suit found him legally responsible after he failed to show up at court on multiple occasions. The court awarded Brown’s estate the sum of $36-million dollars in the wrongful death settlement.
